Senior Business Analyst – Develop, drive, and operationalize new strategic solutions and capabilities to improve customer experience and operations and maintain overall business strategy through a data analytics-driven approach to make web products responsive and accessible for all users.  Define and execute strategy, roadmap, objectives, and key results, to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative matrix environment and develop strategic capabilities including the use of data for risk assessment. Optimize data retrieval solutions by analyzing and solving for drop-off in consumer behavior funnel, and inefficient data supply chains and operational processes by implementing a big data analytics platform using NoSQL and analytical databases and data visualization tools like Tableau.  Take overall ownership in achieving results in operational metrics and executing business strategy and objectives.  Support decisions with key insights, data analysis & effective presentations of important factors driving the businesses by extensively using Control-M to manage data warehouse job, and schedules.  Develop polished presentations and data visualizations to synthesize and communicate complex data analysis to various constituencies, including senior leadership. Produce regular reports and analysis, write system queries to gather data, perform data mining and analysis using tools including OBIEE, MYSQL, SQL, Oracle BI and Cognos to identify trends and develop forecasts as well as identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.  Make strategic decisions that will improve compliance and grow the business, guide strategy and set goals for the team.  Perform full-length data analytics to cater to the needs of strategic decision-making with technologies like OBIEE, Oracle BI, Cognos, No SQL, HQL, PL-SQL, HUE tool, HDFS, and Kafka Tool.  Lead meetings for the purpose of reviewing the implementation accomplishments and or shortfalls with each business unit of the functional unit and reporting the results of these meetings to company leadership. Data EngineerTranslate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.  Utilize development skills to code and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.  Build and unit test production deployment packages and implementation plans for scheduled systems enhancements.  Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.  Collaborate with QA team members to ensure deliverables are produced on schedule and with high quality.  Collaborate with DevOps team members to ensure successful production deployments, as well as, ensuring security and effective monitoring in production environments.  Process and generate big data sets using Hadoop ecosystem tools like Map Reduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie and Sqoop.  Create complex SQL Queries to check the integrity of data to perform database testing.  Analyze and troubleshoot issues using database query tools such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, Teradata SQL Assistant and SQL Plus.  Create Schemas and Tables.  Manage and Deploy HBase Clusters.  Develop the application in Spark to be integrated using Scala, Hive and SQL in the backend.  Create, analyze, track and close defects using Jira.  Work with Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, TOAD, SQL Navigator, Teradata, HBase, Oozie, Sqoop, SQL, TOAD, and Scala. Big Data EngineerTranslate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.  Utilize development skills to build and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.  Develop applications, determine impacted system components, and perform coding using Big Data tools Spark, Scala, AWS Tools (EMR), EC2, SQS, S3, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Rest Web Services, Hbase, Java, SQL.  Build and unit test production deployment packages and implementation plans for scheduled systems enhancements.  Facilitate/lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality, and limitations of systems/applications to team and development lead.  Develop enterprise-grade integration solutions and leverage third party and custom integration frameworks. Propose solutions for real-time and batch-mode event/log collecting from various data sources.  Contribute to and work to meet project schedules by providing accurate estimates of effort required for development deliverables, by providing updates on project progress to development and project management, and by escalating issues that might affect project success to management. Scrum Master – Facilitate scrum ceremonies (Scrum planning, daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Scrum Retrospective). Coach and educate product owner and developers to prioritized backlog and break down stories. Ensure inter-team risk, blockers, and hindrance are identified and resolved. Work with two Agile release managers to provide functional release per sprint cycle. Work closely with stakeholders in the process of requirements and sprint review feedbacks. Track print metrics and maintain dialogue to 2 teams on performance, challenges, accountability, and recognition. Create and aid product owner in the construction of product roadmaps with product strategies. Manage stressful situations and meet deadlines. Maintain transparency and trust between team and the stakeholder. Prepare documents for clients and senior leadership such as metrics reports. Constantly monitor sprint velocity of the team to determine how and what to change in the team to maintain healthy team environment.
